Why Living to Win?

Living to Win is a philosophy I adopted a number of years ago. First, as a Christian and second as a facilitator of Zig Ziglar's, 'Born to Win' program. As I facilitated the 'Born to Win' program in the middle 80's I was increasingly challenged to write my own program, similar in content to the Ziglar program but with a more direct spiritual content. Therefore 'Live to Win' (livetowin.com) was born. Living to Win simply asks that we live in the spirit of Christ every day, placing Him first in our lives, family and business. I read a funny thing recently about some christian businessmen. They were at a meeting discussing how they should display christianity in thier business and at home. Many of them revealed that they had never actually thought of placing christian principals in business, only at home. Although this may seem an absurd thought to many, this is probably true of many of us and those we associate with. How many times have you been in a work atmosphere where a co-worker acts one way at work and another at home or church? Perhaps it was you in place of the co-worker. It is easy to justify being two types of people in today's changing lifestyles. After all, our society encourages it.

Think about the following as you go about your day:

1. Give your day to God everyday.
2. Greet everyone you meet with the spirit of Christ.
3. Thank God for everything that he brings your way.
4. Daily Ask yourself...'Am I Living to Win?'
